About Us

On 21st August 2005, We the Hotel & Lodge Owners of Bakkhali & Freserganj got together and took decision to from an Association to promote tourism at Bakkhali-Freserganj we decided to hold the next meeting on 25th September 2005 at Hotel Sea View.

For all official purposes of our Association and to get it registered, we chose our Association’s name as ‘Bakkhali Freserganj Hoteliers Association’ in the meeting on 25 Sep. 2005, at ‘Hotel Sea View’. The ‘Rules & Regulations’ & ‘Memorandum of Association was finalized in that meeting and the governing body was also formed.

The members of the Governing body were

5) Mr. Madan Ch. Jana

9) Mr. S. K. Banerjee

On 6th Novenber 2005 at Hotel Deepak the first committee executive of the Governing body were selected which are as follows: 

1. President - Mr. Paritosh Ghosh (Hotel Deepak)

2. Vice President – Mr. Dulal Paul Chowdhury (Hotel Dolphin)

3. Secretary – Mr. Sitikantha Banerjee ( Sahana Tourist Lodge)

4. Asst. Secretary – Mr. A. Mondal

5. Treasurer – Mr. Madan Ch. Jana (Hotel Amarabati)

It was also decided in the meeting that on 20th November 2005 at 6 pm. Our “Bakkhali Freserganj Hoteliers Association” would emerge out officially for Registration to give it legal status in presence of Honourable S.D.P.O., Kakdwip Sub division and savapati Namkhana Panchyet Samity, and other dignitaries who would be invited accordingly.

On  20th November 2005 at Hotel Deepak all the reassigned formalities as decided in the meeting of 6th Nov. 2005 were accomplished and our association came into being with legal status.

On 6th November 2006 we got our Registration No in the name of “BAKKHALI FREZERGANJ HOTELIERS WELFARE ASSOCIATION” & the registration No is S/1L – 40272 of 2006-2007.
