Bakkhali Frezerganj Hoteliers Welfare Association
Promoting tourism, community welfare, and sustainable development in Bakkhali – Frezerganj.
On 26 June 2021, the association organized a vaccination camp for hotel owners and staff of Bakkhali and Frezerganj to ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic and support the safe reopening of tourism in the region.
After the devastating Cyclone Bulbul, the association organized a 3-day meal service for affected villagers in Laxmipur village near Bakkhali, providing food and support during the difficult time.
The association works actively with local authorities to promote Bakkhali and Frezerganj as one of the most peaceful beach tourism destinations in West Bengal.
Members of the association regularly organize beach cleaning drives to preserve the natural beauty of Bakkhali sea beach and encourage responsible tourism practices.
Regular meetings are conducted among member hotels to discuss tourism development, hospitality standards, and visitor safety in Bakkhali and Frezerganj.
The association collaborates with tourism authorities and local administration to improve tourism infrastructure and visitor facilities in the Bakkhali region.
